Greg Buckley has 44 years of experience in local government management, with 30 of those years spent as the city manager of Two Rivers, WI (pop. 11,275, 115 employees, and a $42M annual budget). He has extensive experience in budgeting/municipal finance, capital improvement planning/management, human resources, and economic development. Prior to his work in Two Rivers, he served as City Manager of Buchanan, MI, and as the Assistant Manager for the Village of Oak Park, IL, and the City of Grand Haven, MI.
Buckley earned an MPA from Syracuse University and has a bachelor’s degree in public management from the University of Maine.
Buckley lives in Two Rivers and is still very active in various community organizations. He is a lifetime member of the Wisconsin City/County Management Association.
