Marty Kosobucki has 29 years of experience working for local governments in the
field of Park, Recreation, Forestry and Facilities. He is currently the Director of Parks,
Recreation and Forestry for the City of De Pere which has been routinely voted as one
of the best places to live in Wisconsin. His responsibilities include oversight and
administration of recreational services, over 400 acres of park land, urban forestry
program, and facilities including a Community Center, two outdoor swimming pools,
soccer complex, three boat launches and a dog park. Kosobucki holds a Master
Degree from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse, and obtained Certified Public
Manager designation from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He served as
President of the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association from 2008 to 2010 and
currently serves on the WPRA Leadership Academy Committee. He was awarded the
top honor in WPRA with the Professional Award of Merit in 2011.
